We supply textile manufacturing plants across the entire American continent, combining imports from China and Asia as our core sourcing strategy, with complementary operations from Europe according to the technical requirements of each project.

What We Do

What Type of Textile Machinery Do We Work With?

Silqui-Tex International works with new and used industrial textile machinery for the main production processes in the sector. Our offering covers equipment for spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing, and related textile processes.

We supply machinery for fiber opening and preparation, blowroom lines, carding, open-end spinning, ring spinning, winding, as well as auxiliary equipment, internal material handling systems, and complementary solutions for textile plants. Each selection is made according to the fiber type, production volume, required technological level, and the project’s budget.

From Where Do We Source Machinery?

Silqui-Tex International sources industrial textile machinery mainly from China and other Asian countries, working with selected manufacturers and strategic partners. This sourcing base allows us to offer competitive, modern solutions adapted to different investment levels.

We complement our offering with machinery sourced from Europe when technical requirements, specific brands, or the type of production process demand it, achieving a balanced combination of technology, reliability, and operating cost efficiency.

History of Silqui-Tex International

Silqui-Tex International was founded in 1983 and, throughout its history, has undergone a continuous process of evolution that has led it to consolidate as a professionally structured company with a defined operational framework and international projection.

Over the years, the company moved beyond the traditional family business model to become a process-oriented organization focused on technical management and international commercial development, adapting to the profound technological and productive changes of the textile industry.

Technical Experience and Current Role of Francisco Acosta

Francisco Acosta, the founder of the company, developed an extensive career in the international textile industry, including his professional experience at Rieter, where he worked as an official installer for South America. His technical expertise was fundamental during the early stages of Silqui-Tex, establishing a solid foundation of technical criteria and quality standards.

Currently, Francisco Acosta is not involved in the company’s operational management or technical leadership. His role is limited to specific and occasional advisory support, within a context where technology, industrial processes, and the market have evolved significantly. The direction and development of Silqui-Tex International are now based on a modern and professional organizational structure.

Silqui-Tex International operates facilities in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with more than 4,000 square meters of covered space dedicated to warehousing, logistics, and the management of machinery and spare parts. This infrastructure enables efficient coordination of industrial projects, delivery operations, and technical support.

Complementing its operations in Argentina, Silqui-Tex International operates an active warehouse in China as part of its international structure. This strategic presence allows the company to manage spare parts and components directly from the source, optimizing lead times, costs, and availability.

In the current industrial context, it is no longer essential to maintain large volumes of spare parts immobilized in a single country. Thanks to its warehouse in China and a well-established international logistics network, Silqui-Tex International can ensure that required parts reach the customer’s plant within very short lead times, allowing equipment in many cases to resume production in approximately three days, without significant production losses.
